Amy Gingerich has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amy began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Wichita State University in 1997 and then became a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas from 1998 to 1999. Amy further developed their skills at LSG Sky Chefs as a Training Manager from December 2002 to April 2004. In 2005, they joined Kindred Healthcare as a Senior Training Developer and remained with the company until 2011. During this time, they honed their expertise in training and development.

In 2011, Amy joined Yum! Brands as a Learning Architect/Training Manager. Here, they collaborated with senior training leaders to design and implement global training solutions. Amy also played a pivotal role in creating and implementing the annual compliance window for above-restaurant learners across the globe.

In 2013, Amy joined Pizza Hut and took on multiple roles over the years. Amy started as a Manager, Training Development and played a crucial role in designing and launching an award-winning gamified program. Amy later became a Senior Manager, Learning Technologies/Training and Development where they led cross-functional and global teams in creating leadership development programs. In their most recent role as Director of Learning Technologies, Amy partnered with global brand training leaders to define and implement learning tech strategy. Amy spearheaded the design and implementation of the Culture of Belonging course, which was taken by over 150k Team Members across thousands of restaurants.

Throughout their career, Amy has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, create effective training programs, and drive innovation in the learning and development field. Amy has received recognition for their work, including awards for their training programs.

Amy Gingerich earned a BA degree in English with a minor in Spanish from Wichita State University in the years 1992-1997. Amy later pursued an MA in English with a focus on literature, film, multicultural, and women's studies at the University of North Texas from 1999 to 2001. In 2006, they obtained a certification in Criterion-Referenced Instruction from The Center for Effective Performance, Inc.
