Akihiro Tomita

Akihiro Tomita is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economics, data science, and machine learning. Currently serving as a Manager, ML Algorithm Engineer, and Data Scientist at PKSHA Technology since June 2021, Akihiro previously worked at the Bank of Japan from May 2019 to June 2021 as an Economist in the Monetary Affairs Department's Policy Planning Division. Prior roles include project management and consulting positions at the Hyundai Kia America Technical Center, Ford Motor Company, and ABB, as well as a series of economist roles at the Bank of Japan from 2013 to 2017. Akihiro holds a Master of Business Administration in Data and Business Analytics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Laws in Political Science from The University of Tokyo.
