Mostafa Abourayya

Mostafa Abourayya has over 18 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Mostafa is currently working as the Global Procurement Director at pladis Global since 2023. Prior to this, Mostafa worked at Mars for 8 years, where they held various roles including Senior Director Procurement MEA, Regional Procurement Director, and Regional Supplier Quality Assurance Manager & Global Category Leader. Before joining Mars, they worked at Danone as a Direct Materials Procurement Manager & Regional Category Leader for the Middle East & Africa region. Mostafa also has experience working at Mars as a Factory Planner & Supply Chain Inbound SAP Functional Expert and as a Capital & Services Buyer & Procurement SAP Functional Expert. Mostafa started their career as a Business Consultant at Horizonssoftware and later ran their own business as the Executive Manager at Abourayya Co. Mostafa has a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and implementing sourcing strategies in various categories.

Mostafa Abourayya has a Master of Business Administration degree in Globalization, which they obtained from Maastricht School of Management between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Power Section at Ain Shams University from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, Mostafa Abourayya has obtained certifications as a Certified Ironman Coach from IRONMAN U in 2020 and as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer-Exercise and Fitness Specialist (CPT-EFS) from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in 2019.
