Robyn Dunwoodie

Robyn Dunwoodie has extensive experience in corporate communications and public affairs. Robyn is currently serving as the Director of Corporate Communications - Global at pladis Global since May 2020. Before that, they worked as the Head of Corporate Affairs at L'Oréal UK and Ireland from February 2019 to March 2020. Prior to L'Oréal, Robyn was the Head of Corporate Relations - Global Travel/ Travel Retail at Diageo, where they established and implemented a comprehensive corporate relations strategy. Robyn also worked as the Corporate Communications Manager at SABMiller from September 2013 to February 2017, leading strategic communications and employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, Robyn has experience in alcohol policy and industry relations from their role as the Alcohol Policy and Industry Relations Manager at The Portman Group. Robyn started their career in the advertising industry, providing expert advice on advertising compliance at the Advertising Standards Authority. Before that, they worked as a Contract Lawyer at the Department of Trade and Industry and as an Attorney at Cox Yeats Attorneys. Overall, Robyn has a diverse background in corporate communications and public affairs, with a strong focus on building and protecting brand reputation.

Robyn Dunwoodie has completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Additionally, they hold a Masters of Arts (MA) degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from London Metropolitan University.
