Jiangtao Li

Jiangtao Li is an accomplished engineering manager specializing in security engineering, currently leading the Security Engineering team at Plaid since June 2021, reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer. Previously, Jiangtao held significant roles at Google from April 2016 to June 2021 as a Staff Engineer and manager of the Security Foundation Team, focusing on RPC transport security. Prior experience includes a position as a Software Engineer on the Security Team at Facebook, where the focus was on abuse detection and user data protection, and as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Intel Labs, where Jiangtao co-invented the Intel EPID technology. Jiangtao's career began with an internship at Microsoft in 2003. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
