Tamara Romanek

Tamara Romanek is the current Head of Partnerships at Plaid. Tamara has extensive experience in the payments industry, having previously served as Director, Payments Industry, Networks, Financial Institution Partnerships and Strategy at Meta from September 2017 to August 2022. Prior to that, they were Vice President Business Development - Banking as a Service Partnerships & Strategy at NetSpend from April 2014 to August 2017.

Romanek began their career in the payments industry at Chase in January 2007, where they served as Vice President-Product Innovation responsible for loyalty program development and management and free benefits to maintain existing and attract new cardholders. Tamara then moved to Visa in April 2010, where they served as Sr. Business Leader - Strategic Partnerships - Global Mobile Solutions before being promoted to Director, Commercial Solutions in January 2001. Tamara left Visa in December 2006 to join Aceva Technologies as Director, Business Development before moving to LookSmart in January 1999, where they served as Director, Business Development – Syndication until December 2000.

Tamara Romanek's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Their manager is Zachary Perret, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Tom Daniels - CISO, Eric Sager - COO, and Meredith Fuchs - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.
