Tom Zheng

Tom Zheng is an experienced professional in data science and analytics with a strong background in product development and risk management. Currently serving as Head of Product Data Science at Plaid since June 2022, Tom leads a team focused on machine learning and analytics across various platforms. Prior to this role, Tom was Head of Data Science at Carta, overseeing a team of 10 data scientists in collaboration with multiple product teams. Tom's earlier career includes positions as Risk Analytics Manager at Avant, Founder & COO of StudyCloud, and various internships in finance and investment management, including roles at Goldman Sachs and Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and has a solid foundation in data analysis and research published in reputable journals.
