Karl Siewertsen has served as a Music Teacher at Plainedge School District since September 2006, focusing on elementary band, orchestra, general music, and directing the high school musical, while also holding the position of NMEA All-County Band Chairperson. Prior to this role, Karl was the Middle School Band Director at East Ramapo CSD from September 2005 to June 2006. Karl Siewertsen earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Music from Stony Brook University in 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Music Performance from Ithaca College, awarded in 2005.
