Juan Yactayo

Juan Yactayo serves as the Principal Architect for Industrial OT at Plains All American, with a career spanning over two decades in control system engineering and operational technology. Prior to this role, Juan worked at Celanese as the Enterprise Operational Technology Architect and at Aera Energy LLC as the IT/OT Engineering Team Lead and OT Architect, overseeing significant capital projects and managing control system upgrades. Experience also includes positions at Chevron and Aera Energy LLC, where Juan focused on safety instrumented systems, project management, and automation in major capital projects. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Control Engineering and Process Automation and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
