Marques Girardelli

Marques Girardelli has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Marques started their career as a Software Engineer at InFocus Corporation in 2000, where they designed and implemented wireless image transmission software. Marques then joined PSC Scanning, Inc. in 2001 as a Software Engineer, developing software for barcode scanners and performing code optimizations.

In 2002, Girardelli returned to InFocus Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, leading software development for DLP-based projectors and porting software platforms to embedded video platforms.

From 2007 to 2012, Girardelli worked at Planar Systems as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they architected the award-winning Runco video processor line and founded a software development group. Marques later became a Manager, overseeing the activities of the company's electrical and embedded software design resources and working on signage displays and video wall products.

Girardelli then progressed to roles of increasing responsibility at Planar Systems, including Director of LCD Products and Senior Director of Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering, leading the engineering department at Planar Systems.

Marques Girardelli completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Marylhurst University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Portland State University from 2003 to 2006. Marques also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from Oregon State University between 1997 and 2002.
