Jean-Christophe Hesteau

Jean-Christophe Hesteau has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Jean-Christophe currently serves as the Managing Director for PLANASA in Mexico since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the General Manager for SunOpta in Mexico from July 2020 to January 2023. Jean-Christophe has also served as a Board Member for the National Mango Board from April 2020 to March 2021. Before joining SunOpta, they held several roles at Agrana, including Director of Fresh & Frozen at Agrana Fruit Mexico from December 2018 to June 2020, Director of Procurement & Supply Chain at Agrana Fruit Mexico from June 2012 to November 2018, and Food Safety and Quality Manager at Agrana Fruit Services from June 2006 to June 2012. Jean-Christophe also worked as a Regional Agronomy Manager from October 2004 to May 2006 and as an Ejecutivo de Ventas from June 2001 to September 2004. Additionally, they served as the Tesorero for Aneberries from January 2013 to December 2016.

Jean-Christophe Hesteau has a diverse education background. Jean-Christophe obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they attended from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued a program called D1 at IPADE Business School. In the earlier years of their education, from 1995 to 2000, Hesteau attended ESA, L'Ecole supérieure des agricultures, where they earned a degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce as an Ingénieur en Agriculture. Jean-Christophe has also acquired additional certifications, including Beta Gamma Sigma from Beta Gamma Sigma in 2020 and Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in 2019.
