David Schapiro

David Schapiro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David co-founded Planck in 2017 and currently serves as a Co-Founder. In 2022, they joined Quantee as an Advisory Board Member and also began serving as an Advisor for Herald. In 2021, they took on the role of Director at Ahoy! Insurance. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor for Sayata from 2019. Additionally, they served on the Advisory Board for HCS Capital starting in 2022. In 2017, they became involved with ManyPets, holding positions such as Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee and Non-Executive Director. David will also take on the role of Chairman of the Many Insurance Company, ManyPets US insurance carrier starting in October 2022. David was the CEO of Earnix from 2006-2017, where they led the company to become a leading analytical InsurTech player. Finally, they have also worked independently as a Strategic Marketing & Product Consultant and as the Chief Marketing Officer at Panaya Inc.

David Schapiro obtained a BSc in Math & Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Following this, they pursued an MSc in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, completing their studies from 1985 to 1991.
