Muharrem Mane has a long and varied career in the aviation industry. Muharrem began their career in 2002 as an intern Liaison Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace. In 2003, they moved to Cessna Aircraft Company as an Advance Research and Technology, where they obtained funding to conduct research and assessed aircraft maintenance strategy. In 2009, Mane became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Purdue University, where they developed risk analysis and propagation evaluation methodology. In 2010, they joined Purdue University's Systems-of-Systems Laboratory as a Research Scientist, where they led research teams and lectured engineering introductory courses. In 2012, Mane moved to RAND Corporation as a Senior Engineer, providing strategic decision support to senior DOD leaders. In 2018, they became the CEO & co-Founder of PlaneEnglish, providing innovative training solutions through interactive tools and technology. In 2020, Mane was appointed as the Assistant Director of PEGASAS - FAA Center of Excellence for General Aviation.
Muharrem Mane has a long history of education at Purdue University. From 1999 to 2003, Mane earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Muharrem then went on to earn a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from 2005 to 2009, as well as a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2003 to 2005. Lastly, Mane earned their Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2005 to 2009.
