Brandon Sorensen

Brandon Sorensen has a comprehensive work experience in the mortgage industry. Brandon started their career at Gateway Funding in 2002, where they progressed through various roles and eventually became an Assistant Branch Manager. Brandon then joined Array Mortgage in 2005, where they served as the Director of Training and Operations Support, responsible for training and managing loan officers and loan processors. In 2006, Sorensen worked at Waterfield Bank as a Secondary Marketing Analyst, overseeing project planning and execution. Brandon later joined 1st Portfolio Lending Corporation in 2010 as a Secondary Marketing/IT Manager, responsible for lock desk, pricing, and post-closing processing. In 2011, they joined NASA Federal Credit Union as a Secondary Marketing Specialist and later became a Mortgage Lending Business Operations Analyst, focusing on analyzing and tracking business unit operational and production trends. Sorensen then joined Atlantic Coast Mortgage, LLC in 2017 as the AVP Secondary Marketing. Brandon returned to Planet Home Lending, LLC in 2016 and held various positions, including Senior Capital Markets Analyst, Capital Markets Manager, Director of Capital Markets, and currently serves as the VP of Capital Markets since April 2021. Throughout their career, Sorensen has demonstrated expertise in capital markets, secondary marketing, and mortgage operations.

Brandon Sorensen attended North Hunterdon High School from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their high school diploma. Brandon then went on to study Management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2003, although they did not obtain a specific degree.
