Luis Dominguez

Luis Dominguez is a CISSP professional with extensive work experience in various roles related to security engineering, architecture, and management. Luis is currently working as a Senior Security Engineer for Planet Home Lending, LLC since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Security Engineer at EchoStar Corporation from May 2018 to April 2021.

Luis also worked as an IT Security Solutions Architect at Leprino Foods from January 2016 to May 2018. Before that, they were a Senior Security Architect at Corus360/Leprino Foods from October 2015 to January 2016, where they managed and upgraded security products and implemented a new perimeter architecture.

Furthermore, Luis worked as a Senior Network Security Architect at DataWorks LLC from March 2015 to October 2015, where they assisted with network security analysis, engineering, and project management. Luis also served as the IT Director for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe from August 2012 to March 2015, overseeing all tribal government IT sections and managing a network infrastructure.

Prior to these roles, Luis was the Interim Director/Manager of Infrastructure Services at The University of Arizona Health Network from August 2007 to August 2012, where they led a team maintaining servers and supporting clinical and business applications. Luis also had a distinguished career in the US Air Force from August 1987 to September 2007, where they held various leadership positions, including Flight Chief and NOSC Crew Chief. In this role, they implemented information assurance policies and procedures and oversaw the maintenance and security of systems processing classified information throughout Europe.

Luis Dominguez, CISSP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management/Computer Information Systems, which they obtained from Park University between 1998 and 2003. In addition to their degree, Luis obtained the CISSP certification (#428253) from (ISC)² in July 2012 and has been maintaining it since then.
