John Dupuy

John Dupuy is a Senior Quality Engineer at Planet since January 2022, bringing extensive experience from Red Hat where roles included Senior Software Quality Engineer and Quality Engineer focused on Red Hat Insights and cloud solutions. John also served as an Associate Quality Engineer, contributing to Red Hat CloudForms management software. Prior to these positions, John held academic roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, including Graduate Research Assistant conducting computational fluid simulations of barred spiral galaxies under advisor Fabian Heitsch, as well as Graduate Teaching Assistant for various physics and astronomy courses. Additional research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at both The University of Georgia and Louisiana State University. John earned a Master of Science in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from The University of Georgia.
