Leigh Garcia

Leigh Garcia, PHR, currently serves as the Director of People Operations at Planet since February 2023 and previously held the same title at Grailed from November 2021 to December 2022. At Grailed, key responsibilities included leading the People Operations team, executing compensation strategies, developing the first Employee Handbook, and managing compliance with pay transparency laws. Prior to that, Leigh was the Director of HRIS/HR Data & Analytics at CFA Institute, overseeing HR systems strategy and implementing key Workday projects. Additional experience includes roles at Axiom, where Leigh advanced through various HRIS positions, managing system implementations and enhancing operational efficiency. Leigh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a minor in Music from the University of Pennsylvania and had a study abroad experience at The University of Edinburgh.
