Steve Padgett Vasquez

Steve Padgett Vasquez, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geospatial analysis, customer success, and research. Currently serving as the Customer Success Manager for LATAM at Planet since July 2020, Steve previously worked as a Geospatial Analyst and Business Development specialist at Project Consulting Services from June 2015 to June 2020. Additionally, Steve contributed as a DEVELOP Advisor/Consultant at NASA from May 2010 to May 2020, focusing on optimizing NASA Earth observations for community and policy concerns. Prior research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia’s Center for Integrative Conservation Research and a Teaching/Research Assistant in the Biology Department at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Steve holds a PhD in Integrative Conservation and Geography from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Thomas University.
