Michael Paszti

Michael Paszti has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at PLANETARIANS since December 2022. In April 2022, they took on the role of Principal at Vertagent Inc. Prior to that, in March 2022, they founded Stealth Cleantech Climate-Tech Startup. Before their current roles, Michael was the Vice President of Innovation, Technology, and Business Development at Terrapure Environmental from March 2017 to April 2022. Michael also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Atlantic Biodiesel, the second largest biodiesel plant in Canada, from February 2015 to February 2017. Additionally, they served as the Director of Innovation and Montreal Facility Manager at Darling International Inc. from August 2009 to February 2015, where they focused on sustainability and environmental stewardship. Earlier in their career, Michael held various positions at Maple Leaf Foods as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Alternative Fuels, and at Celestica as a Senior Process Consultant, Supply Chain. Michael also worked as a Senior Analyst at Cebra, Bank of Montreal, and as the Manager of Internet Development Network at Brainbanx.com.

Michael Paszti attended St Michael's Choir School from 1982 to 1992. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering (Honours) at the University of Toronto from 1992 to 1996. In 1998, they enrolled at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they earned an MBA degree, completing the program in 2000.
