Uziel Sulkies

Uziel Sulkies has worked in the technology industry since 2013. Uziel began their career as a QA Tester at Pontis, where they were responsible for new features quality and non-functional QA. Uziel then moved to Java Developer roles at Pontis and Amdocs, where they developed entities persistence in HBase NoSQL Database, migrated application security platform to Spring Security with Spring MVC, standardized complex application builds and packaging using Maven, and developed data processing from Apache Kafka cluster. In 2018, they joined Next Insurance as a DevOps Engineer and Backend Developer, where they maintained and developed cloud infrastructure on AWS, implemented strict IaC work with Terraform, and developed server-side Kotlin for the insurance underwriting process. Uziel is currently a DevOps Engineer at PlanetWatchers.

Uziel Sulkies obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Netanya Academic College between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics from Lifhiz College between 2005 and 2011. Uziel also attended Netivot Yosef between 2000 and 2003, though no degree or field of study was obtained.
