Ed van Niekerk

Ed van Niekerk has worked in a variety of roles in the sales operations field. Ed began their career as an Academic Tutor in 2006 at Private Tutoring. In 2010, they joined Meltwater as a Sales Operations Analyst and was promoted to Sales Manager after seven months. Ed then rose to the role of Senior Regional Sales Operations Manager for the EMEA region, Global Head of Sales Operations, Director of Global Sales Operations, and Senior Director of Sales Operations. In 2022, they joined Remotely SA as a Revenue Operations Consultant and then SalesOps.io as a Rev Ops Expert. Ed currently holds the role of Head of Revenue Operations at Planhat, which they began in 2023.

Ed van Niekerk completed their Bachelor of Commerce Honours (BComm HONS) in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSc) in Finance and Accounting (CA) from the same university in 2008. Recently, they also completed the Meltwater Golden Key Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in July 2021.
