Colin Szopa

Colin Szopa has an extensive work history with various roles in different companies. From 2016 to the present, they have been the President and Head of Partnerships at Plankk, where they transitioned a new CEO in 2021 and led partnerships and market expansion in LATAM. Colin has also been the CEO and Co-Founder of Plankk, responsible for significant accomplishments such as bootstrapping the company to over $1 million in revenue within 6 months and closing a $3.2 million seed funding round in 2019. As CEO, they assumed the additional role of Chief Product Officer for the first three years and oversaw key growth metrics. In 2020, they completed a merger with Menud, a nutrition technology leader. Before their time at Plankk, Colin served as the Chief Revenue Officer at PetroFeed in 2015 and held the position of Head of Sales and Product Owner at XI Technologies Inc. from 2011 to 2015. Colin was also a Co-Founder and CEO of Ryco Business Solutions in 2009. Their career began at APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc. and Pinnacle Security, where they became the youngest regional sales manager, leading door-to-door sales teams in multiple cities.
