Jade F. Hillery, MPH, CD(DTI) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jade F. started their career as a Student Lab Assistant at James Madison University, where they eventually became a Student Lab Manager. During this time, they gained skills in scheduling, payroll, data entry, and technology troubleshooting.

Following their time at James Madison University, Jade joined the CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union as a Member Service Representative, where they served customers and provided banking services.

In 2011, Jade joined the United States Peace Corps as a Community Health Promotion Volunteer. During their two years of service, they worked on promoting health education and conducting outreach programs.

After their Peace Corps service, Jade worked as a Health Educator at Vista Community Clinic. Jade F. provided information, education, and referrals to adolescents, conducted presentations and trainings, supervised teen peer educators, and managed grant expenditures.

In 2014, Jade took on the role of Program Coordinator at Vista Community Clinic, where they expanded their responsibilities to include implementing a health education program in middle schools and providing supervision to a health educator.

In 2016, Jade joined the Planned Parenthood Federation of America as a Senior Training Specialist. In this role, they conducted trainings on contraceptive counseling protocols, developed large-scale training events, and provided technical assistance to optimize affiliate implementation.

Jade also founded their own business, Jade, The Doula! LLC, in 2018. Jade F. provides doula care and a range of support services to the community, including full spectrum doula services, placenta encapsulation, and pregnancy and infant loss support.

Currently, Jade serves as the Director of Training & Learning Design at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Jade F. leads a team that supports training, skill-building, and implementation initiatives across the organization and its affiliates.

Throughout their career, Jade has demonstrated strong leadership skills, subject matter expertise, and a commitment to promoting positive experiences and informed decision-making.

Jade F. Hillery, MPH, CD(DTI) has a strong educational background in public health and international affairs. In 2015, they completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Southern California, specializing in Public Health Education and Promotion. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Affairs with a concentration in International Relations from James Madison University in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Jade has also pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge. Jade F. became a Modern Classroom Certified Trainer through Logical Operations in December 2020. In the same year, they obtained certifications as an Advanced Full Spectrum Doula from Cornerstone Doula Trainings, and as a Certified Birth Doula from Doula Trainings International. In 2020, they also received training in Placenta Encapsulation from Brilliant Birth Academy. Continuing their education, they acquired the Family Planning Health Worker certification from the California Family Health Council in February 2014.

Jade's passion for language acquisition is evident through their proficiency in Spanish. Jade F. obtained an Advanced-Low Proficiency certification in the Spanish Language from the American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages in October 2013. This complements their TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification, which they attained from the International TEFL and TESOL Training in July 2012.
