Mary Baroch has extensive work experience in various fields. Mary began their career as a Sales Associate at Finch Clothing Boutique, where they provided excellent customer service and designed store window displays. Mary then worked at Silverchair as a Paid Editorial Intern, where they proofread web and print projects, formatted text for publishing software, and catalogued images for medical textbooks.
Mary later joined the Pro Bono Institute as a Law Firm Pro Bono Project Assistant. In this role, they served as the editor of a bi-monthly newsletter, drafted online marketing language, and planned and coordinated email marketing campaigns.

Mary Baroch attended the University of Virginia from 2004 until 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature and Media Studies. In 2006, they spent a semester studying abroad at Oxford University, focusing on English studies. In 2017 and 2018, Mary pursued a Diploma in Copyediting, Proofreading, and Fact-Checking at the NYU School of Professional Studies.
