Melissa Wilhelm

Melissa Wilhelm is a Senior Director at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, providing support and guidance to membership committees. Melissa serves as a subject-matter expert on governance and compliance, develops policies and communications, and oversees board and committee member development. With extensive experience in event management, Melissa previously worked as Director of Special Events at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Director of Events and Conferences Department at Planned Parenthood. Melissa managed high-level events and budgets, supervised staff, and executed strategic programming. Prior to that, Melissa worked at the American Bar Association as Director of Midyear and Annual Meeting Services. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Public Service Management from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
