Brian Almeter

Brian Almeter has over 20 years of experience in the field of technology and solutions architecture. Brian is currently a Senior Solutions Architect at Definitive Logic, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Brian served as the Director of Solutions and Strategy at Planned Systems International from July 2021 to the present. Brian also held the same role at ProSphere from February 2021 to February 2023. Before joining ProSphere, Brian was the Director of Strategy and Solutions at BlueWater Federal Solutions from March 2020 to February 2021.

Brian's earlier work experience includes working as an Associate and Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from June 2010 to March 2020, where they provided support to federal clients such as the U.S. Army, Drug Enforcement Administration, Veterans Administration, and the U.S. Navy. Brian also served as an Application Architect - Principal Lead at CSC from July 2007 to June 2010, where they analyzed and implemented enterprise systems for the U.S. Army PEOEIS Program.

Prior to that, Brian worked as a Senior Software Developer at Mantech-IST from 2006 to 2007, where they built applications for the Homeland Security Information Network using ASP.Net, C#, and SQL. Brian also worked as a Webmaster at Hogan & Hartson from 2003 to 2006, a Web Developer at ROH from 2001 to 2002, and a Web Programmer at Crabtree + Company from 2000 to 2001.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated expertise in technical content development, mentoring, solution development, proposal writing, and streamlining processes.

Brian Almeter earned a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained several certifications in various fields including Continuous Integration: Tools, DevOps Foundations: Lean and Agile, Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts, AWS Essential Training for Architects, Cloud Architecture: Design Decisions, Cloud Architecture: Core Concepts, Software Architecture Foundations, and DevOps Foundations. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn between May 2020 and April 2021.
