Wassim Metallaoui

Wassim Metallaoui has worked in the IT industry since 1998. Wassim started their career as a Web Developer and IT Specialist at Applied Computer Resources. In 2000, they moved to DecisionOne as a Technical Support Analyst where they created an app to handle customer refund requests and track their statuses. In 2001, they founded Kmet Solutions, providing website design, development, hosting, and IT services for small businesses in the Tulsa area. In 2004, they worked as a Web Developer and server engineer at MozSource, managing a custom e-commerce platform for Mozilla and Netscape online stores. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Hillcrest Healthcare System as a Systems Engineer and Supervisor, directing the design, implementation, and maintenance of all servers and their applications. In 2015, they joined Clout Solutions as a Principal Software Engineer, designing and developing Ruby on Rails applications for clients in warehousing, e-commerce, logistics and payments. In 2017, they moved to Fabricut, Inc as a Lead Web Developer, leading a team of six web developers and one designer working on the fabricut.com e-commerce website. Finally, in 2018, they joined Planning Center as a Full Stack Developer.

Wassim Metallaoui obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University between 2012 and 2015. In 2015, they completed a Ruby Programming Nanodegree from Udacity. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Code School, VMware, The Pragmatic Studio, and CompTIA. These include the Ruby and Git Master Status (2014), the VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization (2014), Ruby on Rails: Level I and II, Ruby Programming, Mastering Ruby Blocks & Iterators (2014), and A+ (2000).
