Kevin Keating

Kevin Keating is an experienced safety and security professional currently serving as the Chief of Safety and Security Operations at Plano ISD since January 2020, previously holding the position of Safety and Security Coordinator. Before this role, Kevin worked as Security Supervisor II for the City of Dallas from December 2017 to January 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing security operations at Dallas City Hall and managing security for City Council meetings. Kevin's extensive career with the New York City Police Department spanned from February 1994 to May 2015, culminating in the role of Lieutenant in the Patrol Services Bureau. Kevin's academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Marist College, a leadership certificate from the FBI National Academy, a criminal justice certificate from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Empire State University.
