Uma Konappalli

Uma Konappalli has a diverse range of work experience in the field of user experience design. Uma is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at PlanSource, a position they have held since December 2020. Before joining PlanSource, Uma served as the Lead User Experience Designer/Architect at Nielsen through Tata Consultancy Services from May 2016 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a User Experience Designer Consultant at KAIROS Strategic Consulting from 2013 to 2016. Uma also has experience as a Sr. Interaction Designer at Symphony Teleca from February 2010 to August 2010, and as a User Experience Designer at Texity Systems Pvt. Ltd. from October 2007 to February 2010. Uma began their career as a Design Developer at Uzanto from January 2007 to April 2007.

Uma Konappalli completed their undergraduate education at Mount Carmel College from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued a Pre University degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and French. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the National Institute of Design, earning a PGDPD degree in Information Design, Information Architecture, Information Visualization, and UI Design. It is worth noting that no specific start or end year is provided for their education at Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they obtained their BE degree in Information Science.

Furthermore, Uma Konappalli obtained a certification in Product Management and Strategy from Emeritus in November 2022.
