Azhi Vendhan

Azhi Vendhan has a strong background in data analytics and IT management. They currently hold the position of Principal and Head of Cloud Data Analytics at Plante Moran. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer at Sandeza Inc and Great Data Minds in early 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they were involved in managing various IT projects for the asset management business at BNP Paribas, where they spearheaded architecture and analytics teams. From 2013 to 2017, they played a key role in the lift out initiative of IT functions from Janus Henderson Investors to BNP Paribas, and also launched an Investment Management System. Before that, they held the position of Senior Engagement Director at CenturyLink, where they initiated a Data Warehouse and Analytics project to reduce customer churn and fuel customer growth. They also have experience at Janus Capital Group Inc, GHX, Level 3 Communications, and Capgemini, where they led various project implementations and strategic initiatives in data analytics and business intelligence.

Azhi Vendhan has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Marketing from Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli. They also hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. In terms of certifications, Azhi Vendhan has obtained various accreditations and certifications from institutions such as Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Project Management Institute, Informatica, Oracle, and Toastmasters International.
