Mieke Verminck

Mieke Verminck is an experienced professional in the education sector, currently serving as a Learning Solutions Expert and Proposition Manager for Secondary Education at Plantyn since January 2023. Mieke previously worked at Uitgeverij Éditions Averbode|Érasme from September 2016 to December 2022, holding roles as Audience Expert for Secondary Education, Concept Engineer, and Uitgeefmanager for Secondary Education. Earlier experience includes freelance work from 2001 to August 2016 as a Project Leader for educational publications in secondary education and as an editor for educational and non-fiction publications. Mieke began their career at Kultuurleven as a Redactiesecretaris from 1991 to 2000 and served as a Scientific Staff Member at KU Leuven's Department of Political Science from 1985 to 1991. Mieke holds a Master's degree in Political and Social Sciences from KU Leuven and has further education from Boekblad Academie in Utrecht, as well as foundational education from Sint-Andreaslyceum Sint-Kruis in Brugge.
