Dirk Franzmann

Dirk Franzmann has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Dirk is currently the Head of Design at Plasmatreat since July 2022. Prior to this, Dirk worked as the Head of Engineering at düspohl Maschinenbau GmbH from September 2019 to March 2022. Dirk also served as the Engineering Director at Strothmann Machines & Handling Gmbh from December 2015 to August 2019. In addition, Dirk held the position of Head of Development at Maurer Electronics, Bundesdruckerei Group from April 2015 to October 2015. Dirk gained experience as a Project Leader for Development Cold Milling Machines at Wirtgen from July 2011 to March 2015, where they successfully completed projects such as the new W50Ri/W60Ri and W50R/W60R milling machines. Dirk has also contributed their expertise as a Board Member of the Elterninitiative Kindergarten Blankenberg und Sücherscheid and held multiple roles at Procter & Gamble, including Global Core Platform Leader, Project Manager Global Core Program Development, Roll-out Vendor Manager, and Technology Engineer in the Baby Care Engineering division.

Dirk Franzmann's education history starts with their high school diploma, which they obtained from König Heinrich Gymnasium between 1978 and 1991. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1991 to 1997. During this time, they also had the opportunity to study Mechanical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology for a year from 1994 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Dirk Franzmann obtained a certification in Projektmanagement from Procter & Gamble in June 2008.
