Alan Onslow

Alan Onslow has a diverse work experience in the field of tax. Alan currently serves as the Head of Tax at Plastic Energy since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager International Tax at SB Energy (SoftBank Group) from March 2020 to January 2022. Alan also has valuable experience at Deloitte UK, where they started as a Tax - Assistant Director - Energy & Resources in October 2009 and worked until February 2020. Alan later became a Tax Senior Manager, and during this role, they were seconded to Deloitte Middle East (DTME) from September 2015 to October 2017. At DTME, Alan focused on M&A transactional work, tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, and provided ad-hoc tax advice to multinational groups interested in establishing or expanding their businesses in the UAE and the wider Middle East.

Alan Onslow attended Sutton Grammar School for Boys from 1998 to 2005. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Warwick and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from 2005 to 2008.
