Jeffrey M. Staub, PhD has extensive experience in agricultural biotechnology and scientific advisory roles. Jeffrey M. is the founder and Chief Scientist of Plastomics, Inc., a company focused on utilizing the power of chloroplasts and other plastid types to develop beneficial traits in plants. Jeffrey M. has expertise in plant chloroplast transformation and provides assistance with vector design, transgene expression, and characterization.

Jeffrey M. identified technology gaps within the AgBiotech Pipeline and proposed new projects or external investments to the senior leadership.
At Monsanto, Dr. Staub also managed teams and led projects in assay development, expression profiling, bioinformatics strategy, and collaboration with Paradigm Genetics. Jeffrey M. was responsible for team management, data analysis, intellectual property, and publication strategies.
Before joining Monsanto, Dr. Staub worked as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University.
