Matthew Norris has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within different organizations. Matthew'smost recent position was as the Head of Production Operations at Platform Media, where they supported the COO and leadership team in developing and implementing strategic plans for the production ops team. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Output, responsible for leading multiple teams and driving efficiencies while maintaining high production standards. Before joining Platform Media, Matthew worked as an Account Director at The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, overseeing brand campaigns and implementing operational processes. Matthew also worked as a Senior Account Manager at the same company, ensuring the effective delivery of social content campaigns. Earlier in their career, Matthew held roles as a Marketing Operations Manager at Vitality, where they managed sales enablement tools and developed business performance reports, and as a Performance Analyst in various rugby organizations, including Dragons Rugby, Wales U20, and Scarlets Academy.
Matthew Norris completed their National Senior Matric Certificate at Rondebosch Boys' High School from 2007 to 2011. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Performance Analysis (Hons) at Cardiff Metropolitan University, which they completed from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Bradford from 2020 to 2023 to obtain a Triple Crown Accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In addition to their formal education, Matthew has also earned certifications such as Running a Profitable Business: Understanding Financial Ratios from LinkedIn in December 2020, Level 2 Coaching Certification from the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in September 2018, and Level 1 Coaching Certification from the South Africa Cricket Academy in December 2013.
