Einar Geirsson

Einar Geirsson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Einar started their career at Marorka, where they worked as a Data Scientist in the research and development department. Einar focused on modeling and improving mathematical models in the energy management systems for the marine industry.

After that, they worked at Tæknifeðjónusta Íslands as an Engineer, responsible for automating the registration and evaluation of CO2 emissions of automobiles using Powershell scripting language.

Einar then joined MainManager as a Product Success Manager, where they worked closely with the development and implementation of the SESAM software system used in facility management. Einar also served as an advisor during the specification and implementation phase.

Einar then worked at Netlight as a Senior Consultant, specializing in agile and product coaching. Einar helped teams and companies in creating a product culture.

Later, Einar joined RiksTV and took on multiple roles. Einar initially worked as an Agile Coach for the marketing team, ensuring smart and efficient work practices. Einar then became a Growth Manager for Strim, a Norwegian streaming service launched by RiksTV. Einar focused on finding drivers for growth through messaging experimentation and market research.

Einar also worked as an Agile Coach for the apps team, responsible for delivering streaming apps for RiksTV. During this time, they helped the team establish a product culture and launch the new streaming product via browser, as well as creating a new brand for the streaming service.

Einar then joined Platform24 Healthcare, where they held several positions. Einar worked as a Senior Product Manager, collaborating with patient-facing teams to improve patient and clinician experiences. Einar also served as a UX Manager, leading a team of UX designers and addressing the UX needs of the business. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Patient Products, contributing to the betterment of patients' lives through innovative digital healthcare solutions.

Throughout their career, Einar has demonstrated their expertise in product management, agile coaching, and creating product cultures. Einar has a proven track record of driving growth, improving user experiences, and delivering successful software products in various industries.

Einar Geirsson has a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Háskóli Íslands, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Háskóli Íslands between 2007 and 2010. In 2008 and 2009, they also pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
