Lakshmi Baskaran

Lakshmi Baskaran has an extensive work experience spanning over 16 years. Lakshmi began their career in 2004 as an Enterprise Asset Management Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services. Lakshmi then worked as a Solutions Architect and Enterprise Solutions Architect at the same company from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they moved on to become an ERP Consultant at Kalibrate. In 2013, they took a break to become a Mom at The Pregnancy Pause. In 2014, they joined nbn™ Australia as a Platform Director and Enterprise Solutions Architect, where they led and executed Agile Transformation projects and Cloud Migration Project. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a VP of Engineering at Leonardo Worldwide Corporation and a Director of Engineering at SEDNA. Lakshmi currently works as an Angel Investor and a Mentor for Engineering and Product Leaders at Plato.

Lakshmi Baskaran holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Bharathiar University in 2003. Lakshmi also holds three certifications from IBM and MRO Software, including IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management V7.1 (2009), IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo V6 EAM (2007), and IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo V5 (no date provided).
