Fernanda de Velasco

Fernanda de Velasco has extensive work experience, beginning with a Trainee position at HSBC Global Banking and Markets in 2010. Fernanda then moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2013, where they were an Associate in Corporate Banking LatAm Ex-Brazil. In 2015, they began working at the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship as a Legatum Fellow at MIT, and also began their MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management. In the same year, they were also appointed The MasterCard Foundation Fellow at The MasterCard Foundation, and Chief Structuring Officer at Play Business.

Fernanda de Velasco obtained a B.A. of Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in 2011. Fernanda then attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2017. In December 2022, they obtained a certification as an Inversionista Player de Play Business from Molienda Sagrada.
