Satoshi Kawase

Satoshi Kawase has a range of experience in the technology and consulting industries. Satoshi started their career as a Software Engineer at Panasonic Mobile Communications in 2001 before moving on to McKinsey & Company in 2008 as an Associate. After working at McKinsey for three years, they joined GREE International, Inc in 2011 as the Head of Growth Technology. In 2014, Satoshi joined Google as the Head of APAC Admob Partnerships, where they worked until 2016. Following their time at Google, they joined LINE Corp as the Display Ads Lead and remained in that role until 2021. Most recently, Satoshi became the VP APAC Platforms at Playco in 2021. In addition to their professional work, they also contributed to the COVID Safe Paths project as an Advisor, offering guidance and technical expertise to develop tools for COVID-19 response.

Satoshi Kawase holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from INSEAD, which was obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they earned a BS in Computer Science between 1998 and 2001.
