Sidsel Marie Hermansen

Sidsel Marie Hermansen is a seasoned gameplay designer currently working at Playdead since March 2023. Previously, Sidsel held various positions at IO Interactive from February 2015 to February 2023, including Senior Game Designer, Lead Game Designer, and Game Designer. Prior to that, Sidsel served as an Audio Designer at KnapNok Games, contributing to the game Affordable Space Adventures. Sidsel also has experience as a Guest Lecturer at Vallekilde Højskole, focusing on idea and concept development in game design. Additional roles include Administrative Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the IT University of Copenhagen, and a User Research Assistant position at IO Interactive. Sidsel's educational background includes a Master's degree in Media Technology and Games from the IT University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor's degree in Danish Language and Literature from the University of Copenhagen.
