Sarah Galasso

Sarah Galasso is an accomplished professional in the field of animation and digital media education, currently serving as a Full Professor in the BFA in Animation Program at Villa Maria College since August 2024. With extensive freelance experience as an animator for notable companies such as PlayMonster and Hasbro, Sarah operates August Productions, a company founded in 2006 that specializes in various animation projects. Previous roles include Associate Professor at Canisius College, where Sarah directed internships and taught multiple courses in digital media arts, and Animation Program Director at Villa Maria College. Educational credentials include an MFA in Computer Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a BFA in Painting from Buffalo State University.
