Playpower Labs
Sohhom Bandyopadhyay has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Summer Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Doctoral Researcher at the same institute, working on developing a set of psychoacoustic assessment protocols for Active Noise Control headphones. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow, co-teaching the MSc Cognitive Science core course Computation and Cognition (CG501) with Prof. Krishna Prasad Miyapuram. In 2022, they will begin a role as an R&D Researcher (Human AI interaction) at Playpower Labs.
Sohhom Bandyopadhyay obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Scottish Church College between 2012 and 2015. Sohhom then went on to complete a Master's Degree in Cognitive Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar between 2015 and 2017.
