Jessica Schaeffer Med

Jessica Schaeffer MEd, MPH currently serves as the Director of Partnerships at Playworks, where the focus is on enhancing children's health and wellbeing through increased physical activity and meaningful play opportunities. Prior experience includes roles such as Associate Director and Program Manager at the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, where collaboration with various stakeholders aimed to create healthier environments for children. Jessica also contributed as a Fellow Effectiveness Manager at TNTP and as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow with The Education Trust, both organizations dedicated to educational equity and student achievement. Additionally, Jessica worked as a Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, investigating the links between diet, health, and social equity. Early career experience includes teaching fifth grade and leading professional learning communities at Teach for America. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University and both a Master of Education and a Master of Public Health from Arizona State University and Johns Hopkins University, respectively.
