Drew Frerichs

Drew Frerichs has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Drew started their career as an Engineer Intern at Solar Turbines in 2011. Drew then worked as an R&D Engineer at GrafTech International from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they joined Illumina as a Process Development Engineer II from 2014 to 2017. After that, they worked as a Process Development Engineer at Cree for nine months in 2017. Later in the same year, they joined Avid Solutions as an Engineer - Information Solutions until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Flowcell and Metrology Development Engineer at Omniome Inc. Drew then moved on to work at Pacific Biosciences as a Consumables R&D Engineer from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Drew Frerichs is a Senior Staff Engineer at Pleno Inc. starting from July 2022.

Drew Frerichs obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, which they pursued from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they continued their education at UCLA and completed a Master's degree in Materials Science from 2013 to 2016.
