Carlos Olivet

Carlos Olivet has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and data analysis fields.

Starting in 2013, Carlos worked at Intellego Latam as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they created business reports and dashboards using SQL, R, and SAP Business Warehouse queries. Carlos also designed dynamic dashboards with SAP Crystal Reports and Microsoft Power BI and developed ETL processes utilizing SQL and Java.

In 2016, Carlos joined OneLink as a Lead Business Analyst, where they provided process analysis and solution designing for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementation, resulting in a 22% increase in productivity. Carlos also led a team of software developers to improve SLA compliance from 55% to 82% for a $10 million contract with Pepsi bottling corporation.

From 2018 to 2019, Carlos worked at Coca-Cola European Partners as a Data Science Analyst for a sales forecasting project. Carlos developed a forecasting application using Python and various data sources, as well as designed a database structure to consolidate the information. Carlos also created a user-friendly web interface for non-expert users and supported the Business Intelligence team in uploading new information into the consolidated database.

During the same period at Coca-Cola European Partners, Carlos also worked as a Data Software Engineer at Visa. Carlos assisted in the Agile Transformation in the Data Product Development Department and led an engineering team of 15 people while serving as a Scrum Master. Carlos also designed and created data pipelines for an API generating 100 million pounds in profit annually.

Most recently, Carlos joined Plentific in 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Carlos Olivet has a diverse education history. Carlos completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in the strategic use of Information Technology at NBS National Business School from 2015 to 2016. In 2017 and 2018, Carlos attended UCL, where they obtained an MSc in Business Analytics, with a focus on Data Science.

Concerning additional certifications, Carlos completed courses such as "High impact presentations" and "Leadership in Action" at Dale Carnegie Training in June 2015. Carlos also obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2019. Additionally, Carlos holds certifications in SAP, specifically as a SAP Certified Technology Associate (Edition 2015) - SAP HANA. Carlos is also a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
