Víctor Vives

Victor Vives has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Their most recent position is as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Plexus Tech since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Loyal Guru as the Head of Artificial Intelligence, where they led AI-driven loyalty program enhancements in the retail sector. Víctor also worked at Plexus Tech as a Data Manager, managing end-to-end consulting projects for top global clients. Before that, they worked at UA - Universidad de Alicante / Universitat d'Alacant as an Associate Lecturer, teaching undergraduate and graduate-level classes in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Robotics Engineering. Víctor also worked at Nouss Intelligence SL as the Head of Artificial Intelligence, overseeing the development and execution of the company's AI strategy across multiple projects and leading a team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software developers. In addition, they served as a Research Assistant and Research Intern at the University of Alicante, where they contributed to the development of advanced recommender systems and conducted research on machine learning algorithms for healthcare. Víctor began their career as a Machine Learning Engineer at Vellerino Sistemas de Impresión, developing computer vision software for printing companies.

Víctor Vives holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universitat d'Alacant. Víctor also completed a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Universitat d'Alacant. Víctor has additional certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Professional, and a Certificate in Advanced English (CEFR C1) from the University of Cambridge. Víctor has also completed various online courses and obtained certifications in subjects such as Hadoop Platform and Application Framework, Machine Learning with Big Data, Pattern Discovery in Data Mining, and Process Mining from institutions like Coursera Verified Certificates.
