Lorena F.

Lorena F. has a wealth of experience in the information technology field, with a focus on governance and strategic planning. Lorena began their career at Loblaw Companies Limited, where they held various managerial and directorial positions related to merchandising and procurement systems. Lorena then moved on to Ready Bake Foods Inc., where they served as Vice President of Information Technology & Systems, leading a successful ERP transformation. Following this, they joined Weston Foods as Chief Information Officer, overseeing enterprise IT governance and strategic planning. Lorena also served as a Board Member for the Canadian Coalition for Tomorrow's ICT Skills, where they played a pivotal role in the development of undergraduate degrees in Business Technology Management. Most recently, they worked at Plexxus as Chief Information Officer, contributing to the organization's mission of delivering supply chain services to hospitals.

Lorena F. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Later, they pursued an MBA in Executive Management from the Ivey Business School at Western University, attending from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, Lorena also obtained a certification in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT) from ISACA.
