Avid Hassanpour

Avid Hassanpour is a seasoned research scientist specializing in medicinal chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist I at Pliant Therapeutics since December 2022. Previously, Avid held roles as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at NuChem Sciences from May 2019 to December 2022, and worked as a Research Scientist at Gladius Pharmaceuticals Inc from 2015 to 2019. Avid Hassanpour earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry from Concordia University from 2009 to 2014 and holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry from SBUK in Kerman, Iran.
