Dennis Hazekamp

Dennis Hazekamp has extensive experience in the field of clinical operations, with a focus on managerial roles. Dennis is currently serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Pliant Therapeutics since April 2023. Before that, Dennis held the position of Director of Clinical Operations at Fate Therapeutics Inc from January 2021 to March 2023. Dennis also served as the Director of Clinical Operations at Acerta Pharma, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, from August 2018 to January 2021. Prior to that, Dennis worked as a Functional Manager at Roche from October 2016 to July 2018 and at Genentech from February 2015 to September 2016. Dennis also held the role of Senior Global Studies Leader at Genentech from December 2007 to February 2015. Earlier in their career, Dennis worked as a Clinical Operations Manager at Amgen from May 2006 to October 2007 and as a Sr. Clinical Research Site Manager/Regional Study Lead at Pfizer from July 2000 to April 2006. Dennis started their career at PPD in various roles, including CRA, Sr CRA, and Project Manager, from September 1995 to July 2000.

Prior to their roles in the pharmaceutical industry, Dennis Hazekamp worked as an Oncology Data Manager at Duke University Medical Center from May 1994 to September 1995 and as an Information Specialist at CDC National HIV/AIDS Hotline at the American Social Health Association from 1992 to 1994.

Dennis Hazekamp received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University, from 1989 to 1993.
