Amir Shavit

Amir Shavit is a seasoned Chip Architect at Pliops since July 2020, with extensive experience in VLSI and FPGA design. Previously, Amir served as Principal VLSI/FPGA Architect at LightBits Labs and held the role of Senior DSP Architect at CEVA, Inc., where responsibilities included architecting next-generation DSP cores and collaborating with various teams. At PMC-Sierra, Amir contributed as a Principal Engineer, assisting in chip architecture definitions and leading initial designs. Amir's career also includes leadership roles at Wintegra and engineering positions at Freescale Semiconductor, showcasing expertise in architecture, design, verification, and customer support across multiple projects. Amir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
